One thing people of all ages share in common are a desire to not feel pain. No one enjoys suffering from pain. Not only does physical pain hurt but also it can affect a person on a psychological level as well as affecting a person socially and decreasing a person's quality of life. Pain is very complex and it is a complete experience that involves many elements.
